Lanshan Gao is the Managing Director and the head of Settlers Investment Management Ltd. Previously he worked in the migration consulting industry and built up a strong network of wealthy business migrants and overseas investors.
Mr Gao is also an experienced property investor. He manages a private investment company with over $10 million of properties under its management portfolio. He is also the Director of Great Lands Properties Pty Ltd, a real estate agency, and Builderful Construction and Development Pty Ltd, a proprietary company with NSW builder licence and specialises in building custom designed homes in the prestigious Sydney North Shore area.
Mr Gao holds a Master of Law from University of Sydney.
Mr Burrows is an experienced Director and seasoned entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ success in real estate investment, property, asset and fund management. Recognised for his ability to identify smart acquisition opportunities that balance risk to deliver maximum return, Matthew provides the confidence to investors that is needed to build multimillion-dollar property portfolios.
Most recently Mr Burrows was Head of Property for the GARDA Diversified Property fund, which managed over $300m of commercial and Industrial assets, leading a team of asset managers, property managers, facility managers and capital works.
Mr Burrows holds a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, diplomas spanning financial markets, valuation and real estate and is RG146 compliant.
Michael Joe is a mechanical engineer registered with Engineers Australia. He currently acts as a Responsible Manager for a separate AFS Licensee. He has more than 17 years of project delivery experience in the construction, mining and funds management industries.
Furthermore, he has 6 years of actual, practical and relevant funds management experience to enable him to understand the responsibilities and requirements of being a Responsible Manager. He has worked with both wholesale funds, such as CVS Lane and La Trobe, and retail funds such as Domacom, to provide appropriate products to property industry.
Feng Chen is a Director of Settlers Investment Management Ltd and a funding director of VT Holding Pty Ltd. He has more than 10 years of experience in the investment and finance industry. He was a senior manager in Summit Capital Ltd, a boutique financial group specialising in investments, project finance and project acquisition, as well assisting companies with listing on the Australian Stock Exchange with a focus in the exploration and mining industry in Australia. The total amount of proceeds he has been involved in raising has exceeded $100 million dollars during the last 10 years.
Feng holds a Master of Commerce from University of Sydney.
Fiona has over 30 years of experience in the Funds Management industry, having held positions with Deutsche Bank and Colonial First State Investments. In the past 9 years Fiona has been responsible for acting as an independent compliance consultant, providing compliance consultancy, external compliance committee membership and acting as a Responsible Manager for a number of companies within the Funds Management industry.
Fiona holds a Graduate Diploma in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management. Fiona specialises in setting up compliance and accounting systems for the Funds Management and Financial Services sectors.
